Mermaids Research Process

  • How not to be ignorant of the world
  • In English we watched a Ted Talk about how not to believe everything we are told and how to investigate things.
  • I found information on piktochart very easy to use.
I found the research process interesting because I learned a little about mermaids.  To answer my questions I looked up information on Google about mermaids.  I was surprised to learn about Mermaid's tails - and that Mermaids are part fish part human.  Finding answers to my questions was helpful.  I found Piktochart of to use - some parts of it were hard to understand and some parts were easy to understand.  I think I know about the same as I did before I started the research process.

  4. Kia ora Ella,
It is great to see you using Piktochart so well, and finding it an easy tool to use. I loved your use of colours and images, and the fact that you included an introduction and some information about your research as well.
It would be great to see you playing with some different fonts to separate your writing out a little bit more in Piktochart, so that your blog post is even more eye-catching.
Tino pai - very good work!
